Avast suddenly is blocking Chrome

A few days ago I disabled Avast temporarily to install something, restarted computer, and since then Avast is blocking Chrome.

I can only run Chrome if I disable Avast. I noticed that only 1 Chrome process loads (instead of 3) and it freezes.

Tried unistalling/reinstalling both Avast and Chrome, no luck. Also tried tweaks like disabling sandbox and web plug-in.

I tried the most recent version 7.0.1474 and my current version 7.0.1466, no luck.

IE 8 works fine btw, but I'd like to get back to Chrome.

It happens some times you need to uninstall your chrome once and again install it.

Never turn off your Anti Virus program to install a program.

The fastest way to infect your system is to turn off your current AV program in order to install another program.
Even if the new program asks you to turn off your protection, don't do it.
I have never come across a legitimate program that wouldn't install while my protection was in force.
If you turn of your antivirus program to install a program, it's the same as turning off your alarm at home when you leave the house.
Don't Do It.
