My PS3 has got a red screen when i turn it on. I am aware that it is called the red screen of death ,and that there is really no hope in it getting fixed. I wanted to post a question on here to ask for some help to see if there is a way to fix it or not? I have youtubed it but nothing helpful comes up. So if you could answer me that would be great...

I used the sony repair service.

I set it up online with sony, a box arrived and I sent the ps3 off. In a week it returned good as new. Our unit had dings and scratches and the returned unit had new plastics and has worked for years since. At 150 bucks I think some folk won't do this but the setup was easy and here, nothing to complain about.
