Vaio S Series - Wireless connectivity & battery question.

Hi.
I am interested in purchasing Sony VAIO S Series 15 Custom Laptop Model Number: SVS151290X.
Will be away for 8 months in Asia using specifically WiFI conection to surf the Web.

A couple of quick questions:

Have you had any problems with the wireless adaptor loosing connectivity often?
For those who purchase "sheet battery", did it extend your battery life? Is it worth buying?
Are you happy with VAIO S Series notebook & customer support provided?

1. no.
2. did not buy but if folk need more battery time, nice idea. But in my travels it was a non-issue. If there was WiFi there was power to plug into.
3. they seem happy with their models.
