A few months ago, my Sony Bravia would not go on. I called one of those online help services, and he said it was a known flaw, and that Sony might honor it under warranty. I eventually got through to Sony, and they sent someone out who came and saw that we were 5 months out of warranty and they did not cover it. I paid extra for a Sony thinking they were higher quality, but I htink from now on, I will be buying Samsung
