Everyone go on facebook and post your gripe to Sony Electronics. They seem to be taking notice and if enough people keep posting we may get somewhere.

About three months ago my 55" SXRD had the optical block problem (yellow screen). I contacted the vendor (Mac Camera) and they referred me to Sony Support with a case number. I called Sony and explained the problem. They called a local repair service (Dallas). The repair service called me, made an appointment, ordered the block, and installed it. Zero problems, zero cost. The repair tech explained that the new block would be covered indefinitely.
