How to print black only on HP OfficeJet Pro 8100?

The print is set default to color, but almost all my daily printing is black only. Any way I can change the default to black ink only without having to go through the Advanced tap and manually changing it?

Use Devices and Printers applet of Ctrl Panel

Click Start -> Control Panel -> Devices and Printers. Right-click the printer and click Properties. You'll find the defaults there.

I always tell my students that if a computer hasn't made you feel stupid lately, you just haven't spent enough time with them. grin Any time you're doing something for the first time on a computer, it's going to try to intimidate you because in spite of its blinding speed and storage capacity, all it really knows is high, low, and equal. Anything else is due to what someone programmed into it, and the first time you do something some programmer didn't anticipate, it'll do something really dumb. Just remember they're dumber than chickens and that's pretty dumb! laugh
