DV2200 and solid state hard drive

Hi, I have a DV2200 laptop and my hard drive is broken so I have just bought a new sata 2 solid state hard drive but it is not working.

Please help.

Try hp.com and their chat there. Sometimes you get lucky and the HP rep knows if a BIOS update can help.

Sometimes it's due to the old OS issues. But you didn't put that in your post so I'll stop here.
