Ink cartridge problem L7680

I had 2 out ink cartridges that were past their expiration date, so I replaced them. One of them reset, but the other still indicates that the cartridge is past the expiration date eventhough it's new. I pulled it back out, put it back in, tried the old one and put the new one in again, but it won't reset. Any suggestions?

Change the date on the PC and it usually takes.

Sorry if I don't write more but out of date carts are .. out of date.
