i noticed it jump a 20% disparity ..guess it corrected itself lol.

guess it just didn't correspond w the gauge. this is (can be) similar to phones. My only explanation ..
i dnt know how..but, the update changed, rewrote, as if, my batt ..history?
possible since this update uninstalled everythng previous.

i didn't want to uninstall bcos..user error and, fine..this was an update. which came. so if we start averting those.. avoiding/removing .. where will we end up?

no, this is what you do ..follow your gut nstinct. if at
first , as i said .. it's as if cells wld have depleted inside the batt. so
that already wld pt to ..well, the system lying(ya and now we're to it
educating the comp - batt) had to be the power but not so much aprob w the
batt as .. and it wasnt a q of uninstalling either (i had that
once a firewall that didnt match system reqs froze everything)

is the update. it shldnt be. but is.
i do get a replace battery ..

Let me share that I uninstalled it from our HP laptops. It happened after a failed update from HP. Rather than allow HP to botch up another machine we removed it.

So why is it not an option to remove it and once and for all PROVE that this is the cause?

And let's cover ANOTHER ANGLE -> Are you using the canned air every 6 months?

At this point since you can not go without this app that you claim is broken you leave no other choice than to head to HP.com and click the chat button and hope you fair better than I did last year.

HP and I spent over 8 hours on the machine with them finally having me send it in for repair. I got the machine back and it was in worse shape crashing in 5 minutes after boot. HP walked out on me and that was the end of that laptop.

6 months passed and after sharing this story many times a HP social site rep offered to get it fixed but the laptop was no longer in my possession since I have no need to store a dead machine.

There's a lesson here.

no, i wouldnt even have noticed if i were not on batt

can't be that bad.. it's not the app. in the past i ve had problems..from my own doing. so i decided if it's other than mandatory updates..but if those start doing this ..

we love HP.
at any rate, why do you think i came here..well, you guys r gd to have and/but, their forums even the registration process is a pain ..

I suggest starting a new discussion with the details and story so far.

Now that we know it's not that, be sure you do you usual 6 month canned air cleaning early so we can remove that from the list too.
