HP to sell off Computer Division --- HP stock drops

Amid the furor over the litigation with certain HP Elite models, and the disaster with the Asus M2N78-LA Pegatron motherboard failure (onboard NVidia chip over-heating), affecting thousands of unhappy HP owners, HP has annocunced it will sell off it's HP Home Computer Div.

HP abandoned a loyal customer

I was never notified by HP of the nvidia chip problem and settlement involving the 6227cl Pavilion Notebook. I have spent the last 18 months nursing what I thought was a software glitch. I should not be punished because I did not assume earlier that HP or a supplier produced a defective product and that I was ignorant of this fact because I am not a news hound or forum junkie.
