HP intergrated webcam stopped working.

Hi all My webcam has stopped working. It is no longer
recognised. I have updated You Cam and uninstalled and installed.

Now only this
'usb cam',(that is the only option in device manager). I never had this before. I don't have a UBS webcam.

The HP webcam is no longer recognised at all in the device manager or Youcam/skpye etc can you please help me??

I am using HP G61 11SA . Windows 7 64bit, Service pack one. I use the webcam for work and I need it . Many thanks

Frankly? Few choices.

1. System restore to when it worked and hope.
2. Restore the machine to factory and hope it works.
3. Use some 10 buck web cam (my favorite solution!)

And the web cam is an USB device so nothing is wrong about finding that in device manager.

I can only system restore to yesterday and it went a few days ago. Can I go back further?

If I use factory restore will I loose everthing on my laptop?
