BUYER BEWARE!! HP NOTEBOOKS
by Notebook_User - 6/8/11 3:49 AM
I have purchased my HP Notebook 6 months ago, opened my monitor to find out that the hinge broke off. The notebook was sent to get fixed for over 2 weeks and even though my notebook on UNDER WARRANTY, they said " physical damage" is the responsibility of the user. Meaning, if you have never dropped your laptop such as myself, you have to pay for it to get fixed. When I asked if laptops were made to be used or decorated on the desk (since you might be at fault for whatever happens to the outside of the computer), the support tech has told me that because it is a physical damage, I would have to pay to get it fixed or use the notebook as it is. I spent over $900 on the laptop and they want me to pay another $300+tax on a plastic hinge that shows no damage of ever being dropped, scratched or water damage.
STAY AWAY FROM HP, THEY SUCK AT CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY SUCK IN ELECTRONICS. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY ON SOMETHING ELSE!!!!
