Installing iWork on iMac

I purchased a Mac Box Set with Snow Leopard, iLife, and iWork. I have loaded everything but I can not use iWork. The others work fine. When I attempt to open any of the iWork parts, I get a message to enter my serial number or follow the directions if I purchased a box set. There are no instructions when loading from the Box Set disc and there is no serial number with it. How can I get the iWorks to function? iMac 7,1 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz 4 MB Memory: 800 MHz
