Manage updates with the Download App
Every time I try to update my iTunes to 10.5.3 it downloads 4/5 of the way then stops as it says installing..and a new window opens that says "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" and "click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'iTunes64.msi'in the box below" when i click okay it says "The path 'C:\Users\ewan\AppData\Temp\IXP684.TMP\i... cannot be found. Verify that you have acess to this location and try again, or find the installation 'iTunes64.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product iTunes" i have tried everything i can but this message keeps coming up can someone please explain very simply how to do this thank-you so much. Also i have already homeshared with my brothers computer and would hate to have to scan all my discs in again x

Did you go looking for the iTunes64.msi file on your hard disk? Did it exist? Did you enter the path in the box on the screen that asked for it and press OK?
What happens if you save the install program to a folder on your hard disk, then run it from there in Explorer? That's the common way to do it. Better then running it from the web.

I'll supply PRIOR discussions on this but the cause seems to be registry cleaners and antivirus/firewall protection. There is not enough details to know which caused this message.
