I would like to use itunes for two separate ipods on one computer.
How to organize this?

Use 2 user accounts. One for each iPod.

Does this mean you need to set up two complete user accounts?

The first solution offered above requires you to have to separate user accounts on the computer.
One user account > One iTunes account > Two different Playlists is a much easier route

Configure each ipod, in iTunes, to only download its own playlist.

One 8+ GB playlist for the Touch, and a 1GB playlist for the Shuffle. Works well for me.
