Itunes 10.5 won't let me drag music or add music anymore?

When I first downloaded itunes 10.5 it wouldnt let me left click on the different sections like "movies, music, etc" it would give me the no symbol

Finally I had to downloaded something from the itunes community, for windows 7 and it now works although it prompts me yes or no if I wanna open Itunes EVERYTIME

Now ever since last night when I try to drag downloaded music into itunes, it gives me the no symbol...whether I drag the whole library, or single songs, none will drag and drop...

any idea why that would be?

yeah that's what I first used to get into compatibility mode, but how do I get out of it? I'm having problems dragging the music now, the left click is working

Get out the same way you got in. Uncheck the box that you checked.

There are other things that interfere like Windows Live but you know folk won't tell all and I can't find them all.

What I do is stop apps like that, and head back to stock. My laptop is pretty stock and itunes is fine here.

I switched back, dragged music over, went back to compatibility and then it worked. But I'll have to keep switching back and forth

itunes 10.5 is basically a broken system
