Manage updates with the Download App
Running Win xp s.p.3, 32 bit system, browser I.E.8, Intel Pentium 2.66 GH, ram - 1.00 GB, we are stuck! 'Can't manuever with getting our songs on our Ipod. 'Keep getting a box talking about compatibility mode. Is this the problem? Please help. Thanks

The only time I have seen a Compatibility Mode message was when using MS Office.

THANX FOR ANSWERING. ITunes is driving us batty and we're not young but reasonably intelligent. 
When I try to open ITunes, I get dial. box " ITunes exe. has been set to run in compatibility mode for an earlier version of Win. For best results, turn off compatibility mode for ITunes before you open it." I click O.K. and I get ITunes. We've been using ITunes for at least 3 yrs. although I did download 10.5, 2 days ago. This dial. box "may" have nothing to do with our problem??? We can't get music transfered from our LIBRARY into my wife's Ipod. As with most 'big companies" it's impossible to get to speak with a human, trouble shooting specialist. We are not aware of any other problems with our computer or this ver. of ITunes. Your further help would be greatfully appreciated. Don and Delpha Hirth, MS.
