Is iTunes V10.x ready for this old bubblebum?

If I deselect(unauthorized) this computer from iTunes, will it affect the iTunes I have install of a 10.5.8 disk and 10.4.11 disk. I now am using 10.6.4 disk. Three operating system on my MacPro(2006).

Configuration
2 x 2.66 GHz Dual Core Intel Xeon, 11 GB Memory , Optiarc DVD RW AD-7170A, NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT, Air Port Extreme, Brother 7280N,
Hard Drives ST3250820AS P(Tiger), ST3320620AS (LEO08_08 ) & Hitachi HDP72505GLA360 (LEO_Safe - boot drive for Snow Leopard 10.6.4), Maxtor Firewire HD's (300Gb ,200Gb & 500Gb disconnected and powered OFF until needed) O/SX (10.4.11,10.5.8 ),Nikon Coolscan 4000,

TTPro V5, Macaroni, Superduper, Tinkertool, Xupport, Disk Warrior, Pacifist, Cocktail, MacScan, LCC, Parallels-V4, Mailsteward, SnapZ Pro X , Spellcatcher, Office 2004, iWork 2009, Vuescan, Adobe Light-room V2, PDFpenPro V4, Adobe CS1. PTHCPU Monitor, Memory Monitor, Net Monitor, Shrook, Readerware

if you deauthorize the macpro from your iTunes account, then it will effect all the instances of itunes that is installed on the machine.

Thanks, I was reading somewhere that I short save my iTunes, then de-authorize and then load and install iTunes V10.

I read something about installing iTunes V10

I read some somewhere, it was suggested to save the iTune's lib, deauthorize the computer before installing V10. If it works reauthorize computer, otherwise go back.

Like I said, a 'bumblebum' following instructions from someone more knowledgeable then me.
