iTunes compatibility with Win7?

Is iTunes compatible with Windows 7?

I remember iTunes problems with Vista which have all been worked out, but now I'm thinking of upgrading to Windows 7 and wanted to know if
they work together.

According to the MS upgrade advisor you first have to uninstall iTunes, then install Win 7, then re-install iTunes.

My question on this would be; What happens to your music library as you uninstall the iTunes program. Hope it doesn't get unistalled as well !

But why not use iTunes menu options to make a backup? Just in case! It never harms to have a backup, does it?
