2 iPhones on one iTunes

I'm trying to sync 2 iPhones on one computer. I have Vista and tried creating another user. When I log into that user to sync iPhone#2, it says that I've logged in using a temporary account and any information stored will be lost after logging off.

So, I'm trying to see if I can sync 2 iPhones on my user account, without merging information like contacts, calendar, music, applications. Is it possible and how do I do it?

You do know this is a Mac forum and you say you are running Vista? All I can tell you is that what you want to do is completely possibleI do iton a Mac with iTunes.

You don't need two separate users. iTunes can be synchronized with two iPhones. Just connect each phone (one at a time) and open iTunes. You can select from the various tabs what you do and do not want to synchronize for each phone individually. iTunes seems to recognize the phones by serial and phone numbers, so there should be no confusion.

What resolved my problem....I finally gave up and just decided to do separate iPhones on separate iTunes that's installed on separate computers. :-D

I know this is old but I'm dong the same thing. Got a new computer and can't seem to sync two phones to it so I have to keep my old computer around just to sync my phone. Would think Apple would have made this easier.
