PM6700 Xbox 360 Call of Duty Black Ops 2 no Active 3d

I just rented Call of Duty Black Ops 2 for the Xbox 360 and hooked it up to my 60PM6700 LG tv via HDMI and wanted to experience my first 3d game. I have the settings on the xbox for 1080P and enabled 3d tv settings. When I get into the game, it doesn't recognize the tv as 3d and doesn't give any active 3d options. I do have 3d turned on via the remote on the tv.

I figured this out. Once you start the game you have to select 3d before you enter campaign mode. Once I was already inside campaign mode, I couldn't change active / passive settings.
