LG TV (LCD, 47'') working but making a Chirping noise.

I've been using a TV as my computer monitor for years. (LG LCD 47''). Recently, I noticed that while I'm playing a game, the TV sometimes makes a high pitched noise, like a cricket or a chirping noise. I only hear it while I'm actually playing a game. If I pause it and browse the option menu, it stops. Similarly, it's louder or fainter depending on what I'm ''looking at'' in the game. I didn't notice a distinct pattern.
I googled this but I only found situations where the TV wasn't working anymore. Mine is working perfectly fine, except for the noise.

That is, a common noise source in TVs and many other things is the common -> coil <-. And your old electronics tech has a bottle of spray shellac handy to quiet such a part if they don't want to replace it. Here's an article about this.

clarification

So, if I understand correctly, one of the coils in my TV is vibrating and making that noise.

Is it dangerous? Will it lead to the TV breaking completely?

As for applying Shellac, how can I find out which coil is making noise? If I'm going to do this myself I would need some sort of guide to make sure I don't make things worse.

You use your tools to find it. When such issues were more common years ago (Tubes? remember those?) I had a stethoscope to help me find the singing coil if I wasn't quite sure.

As to the guide, I wonder if there is such today on the web. Back them it was in most repair manuals. Seems these old problems are new again (to many!)

As to making it worse, when microphonics is in question, sure, the new sound it makes if you don't silence it could be worse. Sort of dub step vs disco?
