Audio on LG 47LS5700 (smart tv)

I just purchased this LG TV. I was told it would work as a Internet browser... In fact it does but... I go to my Pandora account and play music and I get no audio through TV or Amp.
I can see the song is playing, so why isn't my TV giving me audio?

Same issue with another smart tv.

It turns out that for sound to get out of the TV, that is we must be specific about what you mean and here I mean out the optical port the APP needs to support that.

Since these APPs are not from LG or the TV maker this confuses the heck out of folk about who to talk to.

About the browser. It is able to get to yahoo, google and many sites. It does not have the chops to do all that your PC can.

-> Let me be blunt here. No SMART TV has as good a browser are your PC.
