LG DVD player/recorder no picture

LG DvD player/recorder getting no picture audio is working showing as no siginal checked connections and cables they are fine. This happened while i was using the setup mode. Can someoene help please.......

Always check the manual for a RESET feature.

No model number or better yet a link to the manual means the usual generic answer or "arrange for repairs."
