26lc2r-zj No/Bad signal when i try to connect to pc

Hi
I have an LG TV model 26lc2r-zj and when i try to connect to the pc by VGA cable + HDMI adapter i get no signal.
And with the VGA cable +DVi adapter I see the image during seconds but trembling and every 2 seconds disappears again appears and trembling and later no signal ,and so all the time. I tried with all resolutions supported with both adapters.

Anyone can help me please.

My specifications are: 9800gtx+ Core2 Duo e8400 4gb of ram. I have all drivers uptdated.

Sorry for my bad english but i tried to ask in the spanish forums unsuccessfully.

1. Never found a VGA to HDMI adapter that worked.

2. Same story for VGA to DVI when the TV is expected DVI-D.

Try this. Get a video card with HDMI output.

Works fine with the other TV

Both adapters works fine with other more modern tv and the monitor. The LG have one hdmi port and one VGA. The other tv also ,with this all metods works fine.

We know that HDMI with its HDCP can cause exactly the issue you are reporting. Since VGA has no HDCP a set that mandates HDCP will fail just like you noted.

This may be the first you read this so it may be upsetting to those that didn't know.

To understand HDCP, HDMI

Does not solve the issue. I can see why folk would be confused on this but HDCP is not consumer friendly.

Let's say you insist on using the VGA signal. To fix the lack of HDCP you'll need a better convertor. Here's one.

You should talk to Bytecc if you want to verify it produces HDMI with the required HDCP.
