Does 3D TV have more radiation?

My husband bought a LG cinema 3D TV. It seems like getting a 3D TV is trendy these days, but I am pregnant. Will 3D TV have more radiation than just normal 2D TVs?

Exactly what I was going to say lol. Nothing in this world is safe if you start caring about everything. Just thank your husband for buying you a nice TV and think about how you're gonna make your child happy.

Well, you can't really say that for everyone. You should've seen how happy my son was when I brought home the LG 3D TV with Tangled DVD. We actually bond a lot better because of the TV.

If a person doesn't know the answer to a question, is it stupid to ask?

If a person has a specific concern about something, is it stupid to ask?

Have you never asked questions you don't know the answer to? Or do you know everything?

If you know everything, why not answer the question instead of submitting silly and abusive posts?

3D is still quite new to many. This is not a stupid question. I have been using 3D TVs (LG and Vizio to be specific) since 2011 and I don't feel any sickness related to TV radiation.

According to U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), There is no evidence that radiation from televisions or computers has resulted in human injury.

Well, doesn't hurt to take extra caution. Anyhow, here's a website with steps you can do to protect yourself if you are concerned about radiation exposure from electronic products.

I don't see any stupid facts from my question, come on folks. Try to understand a mother-to-be's feeling. Everyone knows microwave oven is not good for a pregnant woman because of its radiation.
TV defenitely has radiation, I just don't know about 3D tech, I was just wondering if this new tech will affect my baby like microwave does.
Anyway, thanks to everyone's answers. My husband explianed how a 3D TV work. I didn't understand it fully but it seems like it's different from microwave. And he downloaded some LG parenting apps in our TV which are helpful.
