LG 65" SmartTV

Hey Everyone!

I just had a quick question. I work for UCLA and we have just installed a giant 65" LG SmartTV in one of our conference rooms. We were looking at buying the webcam to enable the employees to use Skype, but we use an SSL VPN connection on to campus to enable a work-around so Skype can work. We normally use Cisco AnyConnect. Is there anyway we can establish a VPN connection from the TV? Thanks!

If you check the menu settings somewhere, there should be a video setting where you can select the cam rdy option. This will detect the webcam regardless of what app you use.

I think it will be better to consult with Home Network Setup Advisor, he/she will guide you better to establish a VPN connection with all security measures. As I know LG's smart tv support LAN I'm pretty sure it supports VPN too.
