BD670 Blu ray disk problem or something else.

When playing the Blu ray version of "Rio" it stops or freezes at certain points in the movie then shuts off the player, the tv and the stereo receiver. When I turn everything back on again the volume level of the stereo has been turned down to "0" and requires the volume to be turned up.
The disk is clean but I have cleaned it several times just to be sure. Other Blu Ray disks seem to be OK, so not sure if it's the "Rio" disk or something else. Again, the strange part is the shutting down of the player, tv and stereo receiver at the same time when the problem happens.

Sorry but I'm not going to dig any further as this sounds like yet another copy protection issue with this title. Call LG to report the failure.

LG player follow up

It looks like it just might be a LG issue as you suggest, it plays without any problems on my samsung Blu-Ray player, will try and contact LG to see if they have any suggestions. I am using the latest firmware update on the LG player and now see that it's no longer being offered on the LG site, seems to be a discontinued model.
