I recently purchased the LG 55LW5600 3d LCD TV, for the most part I absolutely love the picture and the setup of the tv, however after the first day I started to experience random restarts on the tv. It would randomly shut itself off then come right back on, this would then continue to happen anywhere from every 10 minutes or so to every few hours. At times it will do this within 10 minutes of coming on, so I don't think its an overheating issue, the tv is wall mounted and not closed in at all.
I contacted LG and went through all of there suggestions, resetting it, changing outlets, trying it plugged directly into the outlet, and trying it plugged into a surge protector. Nothing worked, on my own I tried it on every energy saver setting and have even tried removing batteries from any of my other remotes just in case it was a remote acting up. Nothing worked, in the end I went back to the store where I purchased it and they sent out a new one, I figured problem solved. However, that night, the new tv was back at it again.
So my question to the people of the forum, was I that unlucky to get two bad tvs in a row, or is this a known LG issue? If not, does anyone have any other suggestions on a solution? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
