Actually I agree with you on this. At one point Sony did have the best TVs. This would be the 1990's (over 15 years ago). Now the title is in the air however after viewing the newest TVs released at the CES this year, I would have to agree with Vladimir on this one. The OLED TV released by LG is breath-taking. Even with a hefty price tag I assume most people would ignore it and purchase. The thing that I'm curious about though is I heard this TV will have a 3D depth control feature which allows control of the 3D effect. Can anyone confirm this?

To my understanding, the feature in question is the 3D Depth Control feature which will have an "in ---------out' setting. Rather than control the amount of 3D that is shown, you will have the option of choosing whether you want more of a popping-out-of-the-screen feel or an image that goes deep into the screen.

Regardless of brand, I am mostly interested in passive 3D sets. I already have a LG LW6500 and planned on upgrading to the 9800 but waited until news came about LG's CES plans in 2012. Once OLED came into the picture, i decided to wait for it. I know a lot of people hate 3D TVs but I for one love it. I also am a serious gamer and I can't see why people hate it so much.

bluffing. Sony Electronics has been using both the skimming price policy and
the prestige price strategy to cajole customers since many people believed
that when a product is dam expensive, it means the product has good quality.
But where is Sony today? From the CES-2012 award in Las Vegas, you can bear
with me that LG has been the Maestro topping the award chart as the best TV

Your postings are dishonest -- by posting to this thread under several different accounts, but all coming from the same source. I don't know who you are or what you are attempting to do, but this is considered shilling and we do not tolerate this in the forums!

I really hope you are not from LG, because this would reflect highly negative on your company's practices.
