Anyone else having trouble turning on 55LW6500 3D

My 55LW6500 is 5 Months old and been trouble free till now.
The thing will not turn on?
Anyone else heard of this problem

And not just that model. Infant mortality is a common problem and expected when you make so many sets. There are some new to the electronic industry folk that think this should not happen but it does.

Call it in after you try another power cord.

At 5 months old I would call it in while the warranty is still effective.

Anything anyone suggests here might void that.

Return it. Warranty option should be in place. I've actually seen a similar problem on a Panasonic GT30 my father bought a while ago. The 3D just gave out after a few months. Maybe its a processor issue? The ironic thing is, he just got a refund and got the TV you're having problems with now.

If it is under warranty and defective, anything you try from suggestions here or elsewhere might void the warranty.

Then what happens if that doesn't fix it, or if it makes things worse? You likely get to pay out for the repairs.

The thing is, if it is covered by warranty then let them fix the issue.
