HELP!!! have recently picked up the 55LW6500-- most channels are great; but having trouble calibrating skin tones. they look fake!! have tried the wizard and still no luck!! very frustrating!! don't really care about 3D- but that does look awesome!! overall really like LG-- I guess I am too picky! any help here!!
I am considering returning this set for the 60PZ550 plasma!! glare issues no problem! dark room!!! I realize they use active glasses instead of passive!! looks like all mfgs. are going to passive in 2012! but like I said, 3D; not my priority.

I too am wondering that same thing. I really like the lw6500 but would rather the better picture of Plasma. Did you notice by chance if you have "light bleed" on the left and right side of your LW6500? If so please let me know, i have 5 more days until my return is up.
