How to delete constant software purchase reminder

I have a Mac mini Intel running Snow Leopard. I had purchase a virus software that I let expire, and now I get a constant pop-up reminder to renew. I deleted the software folder, but where is that reminder located so I can delete it?

Take a look in the preferences folder

Both the one in your user folder and the one in the. Root. Of the hard drive.
Also check with the software developer for an un-installer.
Check also the app data folder in both the libraries
P

After hitting dead ends searching through Prefs, etc., I did a google search and found a separate Uninstall program available from the software company. I think it worked because their notification that had popped up, disappeared.
