Do not understand your answer Bob, but what i do know is that since switching on this morning the mouse does not work so I have no control over the computer. I have tried alternative keyboards/ mice but none work so I have had to call in an expert. The first thing I will do if he can get it to work is to dump Mountain Lion it is a menace. I only put it on to get access to Cloud so that I could communicate with my iPad.

If your machine is supported or not is the question. I offered a link to show someone getting around all this but as there are so many models you never know if the owner checked the requirements.

I spend a boatload of money on Apple products and have iPhones, iPad 3, iMac, MBPro, Apple TV, you name it, but I've spent the absolute LAST FRIGGIN DOLLAR on Apple products until they get off their ***** and make Mountain Lion what is should be, what new releases always are. Jobs is gone and now they're going by way of Windows BS, money grabbing nonsense with crap that is just that, crap. That's not what that company is built on, and I highly suggest they by-God get this right.
