Another iMac G5 crash and iTunes problems again!!

I've just had my second major crash and ended up having to get another new hard drive and upgraded to 10.5.8.
This time I load iTunes 10.6.3 and it keeps telling me that I need QuickTime 7.5.5 or later. I am running 7.6.4 - what is it's problem!!!!

that suffered from bad capacitors, there were plenty of them.

the Bad Capacitors caused the machine to do all sorts of strange things, ranging from Not Booting to not running the OS correctly and just about everything in-between.

If you can open that iMac up, check for any capacitors that are bulging, leaking or otherwise misshapen.

It may be time to consider a replacement machine
