My Mac Mini G4 stalled the other day and switched off, then would not restart, it just seemed to be dead, the fan would spin once then nothing, no lights etc...
After trying a number of things, including changing the PRAM battery and trying to reset, I eventually left it for dead. A week later, I randomly switched it on and it started up perfectly, ran for several hours, and then died again. Once again tried a number of things with no results. Again left it for three days (both times it was left unplugged), and then it started up again, ran for about 35 mins and then died.
As of right now if you push the power button you may get a light for one second and a slight noise of the hard drive or fan spinning then nothing.
I have tried a different power adapter cord but no difference. It seems like it has a flat battery and can not take a charge, but there is no battery in the Mac Mini so this is random!
Any ideas??
