Mac desktops forum: Monitors won't turn on sometimes since upgrading to 10.6

Here's the graphics card info below. I don't know if the graphics card is responsible though because sometimes both monitors won't come on until several restarts. It's weird.
Like, if I just do a restart from the finder, I don't have any problems. But if I do a forced shut down or the power goes offthat's when I have problems. I'll press the power switch and hear the startup chime, but then sometimes both monitors stay off (as well as my M-Audio 410 plugged into the Firewire port, not starting up either).
Then I have to press the power switch again to turn it off. Then press it again and hope both monitors come on this time. Usually it's numerous tries before both of them come on and my M-Audio stops flashing to let me know it's been recognized.

As far as a warranty goes I'm not sure. I know there's no way I can do without the computer for any length of time so if there is one, it'd have to be on an individual part that I can replace myself.
I got the computer last August so it's just over a year.
