th is no sound when i connect pc speakers to headphone jack of tv. I want to hear the output from set-top box connected to my tv. I have 32" Panasonic viera tx-32lx70c lcd tv and powered altec lancing 2.1 speaker system.
The tv has following terminals :-

Component Video Input AV2: RCA phono type [Y , PB/CB, PR/CR] (1 sets rear)
Audio Input (for HDMI--COMMA-- PC--COMMA-- Component) RCA phono type connectors (L, R) (1 set, rear)
Audio Output RCA phono type connectors (L, R) (1 set, rear), Headphone jack (1, front)
And the speaker system has 3.5mm connector.
The se top box is connected to tv with rca connector on side of my tv.
Note : the STB does not have any other slot for sound output. so i need its sound frm the tv.I am also planing to buy hd media player with hdmi.
Suggest me the best option
thanks in advance.
