Emerson tv code for Universal remote

Hey guys. I bought a $1 Universal remote today at a local dollar store. And I have this Emerson EWC0902 9 in. TV/VCR Combo set without its original remote. I was wondering if anyone could narrow down a short small list of codes that might work instantly for the remote to be programmed with it. Thank you!

If your remote has this option allow it to self scan, by pointing at I/R, that's an "if". Your new remote didn't have a crib sheet on printed on packaging anything? if not, then google for products(TV, etc.) for their codes. Sorry, too many variables here as I found out with a Jensen univ. remote, got all but one and googled for last item. Even if you find a product code listing for say, a TV brand, you have to run through them to get the right one, unless your manual states it. Also, what may work for one Emerson TV may work for another model Emerson.

The code I have for a universal remote is listed as 0826 I have saved this list for more than 15 years just because at one time I ran into the same problem and had to purchase a universal remote. Hope it helps.
