goodmansgdb300 pin number

lost the pin number for this set top box after a move,can't get it to tune or change the pin without the original pin,is there any way round this please.
have tried everything on the menu but it won't even let me into parental controls to change the pin.

Check what the user manual says about reset options. If you can't find it, contact the customer service of where you bought it.

Circumventing a parental control pin shouldn't be too easy. If it was, your kids surely would find out.

the manufacturers website is useless,it doesn't even keep the manuals on site ,they're hosted elsewhere,which means Ican't even download that(tried already).
even tried phoning their helpline,which is also no use,as you can guess the pin was noted in the manual which was
lost.
