iPod Dock adapter non compatible for iPod touch 4

I would be grateful if someone is able to help. I have just bought an iPod touch 4. I used to use my 80GB Classic to connect to my stereo via a good quality dock to rca connector. Since buying the iPod 4 I have found that this cable appears to not be compatible. I have searched the internet to see if there is some sort of adapter I can buy, but have not had much success. I would be extremely grateful if someone could advise. I have put a URL link to hopefully show you a picture

Clarification request: All iPods and iPhones have the same connector, right now

so unless there is a problem with your iPod Touch 4, your existing connector should work correctly.

If you live anywhere near an Apple Store, take it there and explain your problem.

The Apple dock fits all iDevices, except the iPad, and will also connect to your Stereo.

Thank ou for your advice. This seems like a real good option, I will take my iPod and lead to the Apple store, as suggested by the other helpful person. I will definitely consider this if there is no fix for my cable, seems quite reasonable also.
