Can I use itunes match then Google Music?

I'm completely Android, do not even have an itunes acct. Long ago, I ripped my CD library to 128k .wma files (due to a smaller hard drive). I would like to upgrade those to 256k and get all my music into one file format. Rather than pulling out all my old CD's, I'm thinking of using itunes match in a one shot deal to update my music library, then re-upload everything to google music. Will google music handle the new files? If so, will it create duplicates of everything in my music cloud instead of replacing my cloud tracks?

I don't see why not to try this. I fear the tracks will never quite be exactly the same. Did you ever read a blog or web page about how the version on your CD sometimes does not match what's on the Apple store?

Google's music player and cloud-storage locker Google Music seems like a rehash of the also recently released iTunes Match. so you can search related sites.
