I downloaded TecTracker from Cnet.... also wound up with this tool bar I can't get rid of... anyone know how to get rid of it? have tried add remove programs... not listed .. tried right click on tools etc... not listed....using XP Home

I apologize for the delay in response here, and appreciate your patience. It does not appear that this toolbar is related to your download of CNET TechTracker, but if you could provide any other information about the toolbar, we will be happy to further investigate the issue.

If you have not yet tried scanning your machine with an anti-virus program, I would suggest doing so, as the toolbar could be related to such an issue.
