would indicate that you already have a wireless network going on in your house.

If that is so, then a small Ethernet to USB Print Server would solve your problem. It effectively turns your printer into a Network printer.

Plug the Print Server into the USB port of the Printer, connect ethernet cable from the other side of the Print Server to your Wireless router (or a switch) and there you have wireless print capabilities.
The Laptop communicates with the wireless router and the router passes the print job along to the printer via the ethernet connection and the Print Server.

Reasonably cheap and very efficient

You need a wireless print server. Some wireless routers offer these via a USB port. You can also buy wireless receivers that attach to printers. These are not cheap and don't work with all printers.

IMHO, you're better off just getting a wifi capable printer rather than covert what you have due to cost. Also, ease of this install should go more smoothly. I leave it at that, because you provided nothing in the details of your current setup.

I agree with Willy and others here. I was able to get a new, better printer with WiFi and it all worked for LESS MONEY and LESS TIME than getting a convertor.

I have a wireless printer and I am still having an issue

Not sure what I am doing wrong but I have a Dell laptop and a Dell wireless printer and I am still having an issue getting my printer to print wirelessly. I used my disk to load the software, choose the wright WPA connection but I think my issue is with the password. I have had to recreate my password on several occassions and I am using the right password but I cannot seem to use my wireless connection to print out my letters and such from across the room.

Anyone with any suggestions? Do I have to purchase an additional piece of equipment to make that happen?
