Need help compressing video from my pc.....

I need instruction on how to compress video I have on my pc so I can copy/transfer the video to an SD card as well as send video via email.
I've tried using infraview but the 'resize' option is grayed out. I'd appreciate any help you may offer.

Video of any significant length is blocked by email servers because of the size. There are folk (new, mostly) that think they could compress video to the usual 2 or 3 MEGABYTES allowed in many emails but unless you are sending a 5 second video then here's how to share a big video.

Ready? Use DROPBOX.COM

You'll get a 2GB free space and can email them the link.

Funny thing is I was told,few years ago,I could use Infraview to do it but I've lost those instructions&can't do it from memory.
I'll use the link you provided.

The old title was more likely IRFANVIEW and will do fine things for pictures I never found it to be useful on videos.
