How to forum: Can you change the default safe location in MS Word?

Can you change the default safe location in MS Word?

I use MS word 2010. Whenever I save a new documents or use save as, it wants to put it in the document library. I don't keep most of my files in the document library. Is there any way to perminately change this to a different location, so I can save a few steps when saving files.
