What to do with an AT&T 2wire router with out AT&T

I switched from ATT to Comcast due to internet issues in my area (I always need to have access to my tech sites). However now that i'm going to get Comcast I still have this 2wire route/modem I purchased from ATT. It seems like a waste to throw it away or abandon it in the closet, but i'm not sure what I can do with it now that I no longer have ATT. I feel like there has to be some useful or creative uses for this, out there on the internet, I just haven't heard of any. Any suggestions? What can I do with it?

I switched to comcast internet a couple weeks ago since comcast does not give you a wireless router you have to buy it , I had att before comcast I was using the 2wire then I decided to try if I was able to use the 2wire as a wireless router, I just plugged the Ethernet cable coming from one of the port of the comcast modem into one of the port in the 2wire and jsut like that I had wireless internet in my house , to get access you have to use the 2wire key#.
