Can I update iMovie 2 to work on osX (Tiger)

I know it's an old question. Trying to make this old stuff go. I have a CD copy of iMovie 2 and have installed in Classic. I'd like to update the version to work in osX but any of the updates I find are not recognizing the application the way they are supposed to. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Sure you can update iMovie 2 but,

not in the way that you are thinking.

You can update it from iMovie 2 to iMovie 3 or 4 or 5 or above but you will have to pay for those versions.

I believe you should be looking for a the version 6 of iLife to run on your Tiger machine.

Try ebay or Amazon
