browser is not accepting our cookies
I was also having some sites "not found" while doing online searches. I found this strange and while examining my toolbars, I found that somehow AVG had been made my primary search engine and was used when I entered exact URLs in the go to box. After trying to find a way to communicate with AVG, which is nearly impossible, I went through my old AVG records and found 3 phone numbers, 2 of which were no longer in service but 1 that did get through to the Phillipines. I was lucky and got a tech that was understandable and also somewhat knowledgable. He informed me that my problem was with "AVG secure search" and he walked me through uninstalling it. I have IE back and every thing has returned to normal now. I will repost if I have any more troubles.
I want to inform AVG support that the options provided are not adaquate. You need at least a way to email questions as you used to do. I also remember direct phone advice from thre New York office. If you continue to offer only the current support system, I will not be renewing next time.
