** Total object scanned: 0 **

Some of you have reported that AVG 2013's Whole computer scan is instantly completed with Total object scanned: 0 (screenshot). We would like to inform you that update with fix for this issue was released to AVG Beta program recently. Please go to http://beta.avg.com and download beta of AVG 2013 Small Update 3 today. Running repair installation with downloaded package is recommended (your full license number may be required).

** Strange AVG file names **

Several users were confused by strangely named AVG files, mostly the "ROC_ROC_NT" file lately. If unsure about a certain file, we recommend checking its digital signature as follows:
- Right-click the respective file and select Properties from the context menu.
- Switch to the Digital Signatures tab.
- Verify that the file is signed by trusted authority (screenshot).
If unsure about an unsigned suspicious file, please send it to our virus specialists for analysis as described in the FAQ 2321.

** AVG Secure Search uninstallation **

If you want to completely remove AVG Secure Search toolbar and associated browser changes, please follow FAQ 5200 where you can find detailed instructions.

** Installation/upgrade to AVG 2013 is failing **

In some cases installation of AVG 2013 is failing. Please click Go online to learn about this issue in the AVG installation error dialogue which will show specific instructions, if available. We have prepared the FAQ 5175 article which can help you if no specific solution is provided.

** System slowed down? **

After installing an in-background-running software, like the antivirus, the system is to be expected to slow down as more system resources are being used continuously. While the slowdown is not apparent on new computers, it may be noticeable on slightly older systems. We recommend following suggestions mentioned in the FAQ 5314.
